Breeding Plans for Yaffa in 2009

We are very excited to announce breeding plans for Yaffa. She will be bred to the incomparable Multi Ch. Badavie Silmarillon during 2009. Silmarillon (Allan) has been number 1 stud dog in Sweden for 2008, 2007 & 2006 in addition to being number 1 male or in the top ten.

Pearl at Match Show

November 2, 2008 - Anuttara On The Half Shell - Sissi's daughter "Pearl" - is Best of Breed Puppy and Senior Puppy Hound Group 2 at the Pascoe County Kennel Club Match in Florida with her owner, Amy Wendling. Amy bred and owns Pearl's very handsome sire, Micah. Good job Pearl and Amy.

ASFA Trial - Rocky Mount, NC

November 2, 2008 - Tarife runs to Best of Breed on Sunday in Rocky Mount, working towards her ASFA LC title.

Cassie's Show Debut

October 4, 2008 - Cassie (Elsto Khariz Dixieland Blues), makes her match show debut at Birmingham KC with her owner, Barbara Brewer. She goes all the way to the top by winning Best Puppy In Match. Thanks to judge, Dr. Morton Goldfarb.

August 16, 2008 - What a day for Yaffa!
NEW NORWEGIAN CHAMPION
American Ch. & now Norwegian Ch. Omen Yaffa to Elsto-Khariz finishes her Norwegian title in 3 straight shows. Today she won the CC; she won the CACIB towards her International title; she qualified for Crufts 2009 and she was Best of Breed and Group IV! Thank you Lotta Brun(Spain), saluki breed judge and Mark Cocozza(England), Group judge.
August 17, 2008 - Norwegian Saluki Specialty - Judge Alan Ewles. Yaffa is 2nd Best Bitch in the largest saluki entry ever in Norway - and in a field of 42 saluki bitches.

August 2 and August 3, 2008 - Yaffa makes her show debut in Norway by winning back to back CCs in Nesbyen. The judges were Marija Kavcic from Slovenia and Gunnar Nymann from Denmark. Go Yaffa!

Yaffa in Sweden

Our darling Yaffa has shown herself very well in Sweden. At the World Show on July 5th she received an Excellent Rating and critique and placed third in a strong open class beating 5 champion bitches.
She also received Excellent ratings at the Saluki Specialty and the Swedish Sighthound Specialty the following weekend.

Saluki Club of America - June 7, 2008 - Mama Beagle and the spotted sisters win the Brood Bitch Class at the National in a strong field of beautiful bitches and their get. Thank you to judge Karen Fisher of Ruweis Salukis for appreciating the girls!

NEW CHAMPION!

June 8, 2008 - Yaffa finishes at Asheville KC under Keke Kahn with Best of Breed. Yaffa will now be heading for Sweden and the World Show. She'll be spending some time in Scandinavia with Cody Temple, her co-breeder and Elsa Storesund, her co-owner. Say "hello" if you see them over there.

Best In Field Number Four!

May 25, 2008 - Tarifa wins her 4th Best In Field at MAHA AKC Lure Coursing Sunday. Tarifa has been away from the coursing field for 6 months and it was thrilling to see that she hasn't lost her enthusiasm for chasing the "bunny".

Mid Atlantic Hound Association

May 10-th and 11th, 2008 - Hansa (Snowdicken Sunshine Kharizelsto) wins back to back majors at the MAHA weekend in Raleigh, NC. Big congratulations to his owners, Barbara Brewer and Ken Caruso and big thanks to his handler, Cody Temple. Hansa has 3 majors and needs just 3 points to finish.
